It is the email service that comes with Vodafone broadband. It is hosted by Vodafone Ghana and has the domain Vodafone.com.gh e.g. username@vodafone.com.gh

All (both old & new) Vodafone fixed Broadband subscribers/customers.

Yes, subscribers to Vodafone broadband since June 2010 are using Vodafone branded email addresses and are on the Vodafone.com.gh domain.

Vodafone branded emails are accessible from anywhere in the world. All that is needed is an Internet connection.

Click on My Webmail on the www.vodafone.com.gh site, on your right hand side, and enter the username and password to check your mail.

Please remember to keep your password secret and always logout when you have finished.
 

You can configure your desktop client to POP your mails by using the following steps:
a. Set the incoming mail server option in your account settings to “pop3.vodafone.com.gh”
b. Set the username field to the full email address eg. yawkobi@vodafone.com.gh and set the password
c. Set the outgoing mail server option to “smtp.vodafone.com.gh”

This is a software tool that allows users to set up their emails on the desktop of their computers. Examples are Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Netscape communicator, etc

Now your new email address will be kofimanu@vodafone.com.gh. Check your 4u.com.gh mail account for your new password.

It is mandatory that after first login you change your password to a more secure one.

From the Vodafone website i.e. www.vodafone.com.gh, under login to Vodafone, click my webmail.

Enter your username and password given to you by Vodafone (or obtain from 4u.com.gh mailbox).

Then click login to webmail. Two boxes will appear, one for new password and the other for password confirmation.

Enter your new password and enter the same password for confirmation, then click login to webmail

E.g.
From www.vodafone.com.gh> Login to Vodafone>My Webmail>
Username: Kofimanu
Password: yazz12 (obtained from 4u.com.gh inbox, or confirmed by callcenter or retail shop)

Click login to webmail,

New and confirm password boxes appears
New password: Anm.fc123 (password of your own choice, must be 8 characters, contain a capital letter, numbers & special characters)
Confirm: Anm.fc123
Then click on login to webmail
NB: Always logout after use

A copy of all mails in the old email box kofimanu@4u.com.gh will be forwarded to the new email address kofimanu@Vodafone.com.gh. Also both the old and the new email addresses will operate concurrently for the next 6months, after which you will not be able to access the 4u.com.gh account.

Your old account will remain active for 6 months to allow you sufficient time to inform your email contacts about the change of your email address.
