About the Foundation
The Vodafone Ghana Foundation was established in 2009 as a separate legal entity with its own Board of Directors to drive the corporate social responsibility agenda of Vodafone Ghana.
The Foundation is dedicated to supporting communities in Ghana to improve their livelihoods. To achieve this objective, the Foundation organizes charitable projects designed to address prevalent socio-economic challenges which bedevil specific communities or target groups.
The Foundation’s Board comprises the following Non-Executive Directors: Dr. Joyce Aryee (Chairperson), Dr. Esi Ansah, Dr. Mrs. Stella Agyenim-Boateng, Preba Greenstreet, Fitnat Adjetey and Michael N.A Cobblah.
The Executive Directors are – Patricia Obo-Nai – CEO, Vodafone Ghana, and Samuel Owusu-Mensah – Director of Finance at Vodafone Ghana.

In line with the new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) espoused by the United Nations (UN), the Foundation is implementing a number of projects which will contribute to the following specific goals:

Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive
Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
