- You can register by dialling 5888 or *5888# and follow the on-screen prompts. When you select your preferred Vodafone X offer, the registration fee is automatically deducted from your primary credit balance and you will immediately have access to the offer for the indicated validity period. You must have a credit balance of the price of the offer or above in your primary account before you can register for this offer.
- After successful registration, you will receive a message welcoming you to the offer as well as confirming the exact offer benefits and the duration of the offer.
- If you use all the SMS allocation before the end of the validity period, you can still text for the rest of the period at standard rate of 5.5p for on-net SMS and 6.5p for off-net SMS.
- Where the credit balance in your primary account is equal to or above your existing Vodafone X Offer at the end of the validity period, your offer will be automatically renewed on expiry. You will receive a message confirming renewal of the offer.
- Upon bundle expiry, customers get 3 days and 7 days grace period for weekly and monthly bundles respectively. During the grace period, customers have access to consume their unused bundle allocations. Once the grace period expires, customers will lose all allocations and will move to suspend period of 1, 3 or 7 days depending on whether the customer is on a daily, weekly and monthly bundle respectively.
- While in suspend period, the customer’s bundle will be automatically renewed once they have enough balance to cover the price of the bundle.
- If you do not have enough airtime balance in your account by the end of your validity period, your offer will be ‘’suspended’’ for a pre-defined period depending on the validity of the bundle being purchased. During the ‘’suspend’’ period, you will be charged 26p per minute for local calls and 20p per MB for data. When you top-up to the value of your expired Vodafone X Offer or above within the ‘’suspend’’ period, the offer will be automatically renewed. If you are unable to renew your offer within the ‘’suspend’’ period, you will be completely deregistered from the offer and you will have to register again at a later date.
- Where customers exhaust their bundle allocation before the expiration date, the following Pay As You Go (PAYG) rates shall apply to their usage;
- On-net calls: 26p/min
- Off-net calls: 26p/min
- Data: 20p/MB
- Where a customer’s bundle allocation expires, the customer will move into a ‘’suspend’’ period, where the following Pay As You Go (PAYG) rates shall apply to their usage;
- On-net calls: 26p/min
- Off-net calls: 26p/min
- Data: 20p/MB
- Where a customer progresses beyond the ‘’suspend’’ period or unsubscribes from the bundle, the Pay As You Go (PAYG) rate that applies is 11.9p per minute for local voice calls (Vodafone and other local networks) and 11.9p per MB for data.
Use of the Service
We reserve the right to issue instructions regarding use of the Service as it may from time to time be considered necessary to maintain the integrity, quality and safety of the Service for all Subscribers and such instruction shall be binding upon the Subscriber and be deemed to form an integral part of the Service.
The Subscriber is personally responsible for all use of the Service made from Subscriber equipment and shall neither use nor permit a third party to use Subscriber equipment, or the Service for:
- Sending abusive, defamatory, hoax, offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing messages or communications; or
- Eavesdropping, intercepting or learning the contents of any message on another person’s device on the Vodafone network; or
- Any usage that may cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to any person.
The Subscriber shall not use the Service in a way that infringes on the privacy rights of any other person or with another Subscriber’s enjoyment of any Vodafone Services, or in a way that could interfere with Vodafone network or any other operator’s network.
“Stand Alone Packages” mean the other services of Vodafone Ghana apart from Vodafone X.
“the Subscriber” shall mean the person who uses the Vodafone X Service.
“We/Us/Our” means Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited (Vodafone Ghana)
“You” refer to the Subscriber.
“Day time” is from 5am to 9.59pm and “Night time” is from 10pm to 4.59am
General Terms and Conditions
- This Service is for Prepaid Mobile Subscribers only.
- This Service is for personal use not for business.
- You can deregister from the Service at any time by dialling *5888# and selecting ‘Deregister’.
- You will lose all the Service benefits when you deregister.
- You enjoy double bonus on all top ups and bonus top up is valid for 7days.
- You cannot subscribe to Premium Codes/Value Added Services with your bonus credit. This can only be done with your primary balance.
- Once you subscribe to a Vodafone X offer, you cannot enjoy the benefits of any other primary offer at the same time.
- To enjoy any other Vodafone promotional offers, you will have to deregister from the current Service by either;
- activating the new tariff offer (by dialling the direct code number of the new offer) or
- unsubscribing (by dialling the de-registration code number) and then subscribing to the new offer.
- You can continue to subscribe for supporting offers such data packages, international packages, SMS packages, Value Added Services packages and roaming packages.
- You can also subscribe unto Family & Friends while enjoying this Service.
- You can still enjoy free night calls to other Vodafone numbers with a charge 26p/30 minutes from 12 midnight to 5.59am
We reserve the right to set reasonable limits to the free offers in accordance with fair usages policies.
- We reserve the right to recycle numbers that are dormant for more than 180 days and sell same to other interested Subscribers. Vodafone shall not be responsible for any claims, costs, and liabilities howsoever arising from exercising its rights hereunder.
- We reserve the right to send information to you via SMS to the MSISDN supplied by us. These SMS’ may be for information purposes only. We may also send notices to you by way of advertisement in a daily newspaper, SMS, or through the Vodafone Website and/or by using any other suitable means.
- You accept that we may disclose or receive personal information or documents about you:-
- to and from local and international law enforcement or any competent regulatory or governmental agencies to assist in the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal activities or fraud;
- to and from our service providers or any other company that may be or become our subsidiary, parent company or partner) for reasonable commercial purposes connected to your use of the mobile service or the Vodafone Service, such as marketing and research related purposes;
- to facilitate our ability to fulfil legal, governmental or regulatory requirements;
- We reserve the right to vary at any time with or without notice to you these Terms and Conditions or the Fees. Variations will be notified by way of advertisement in a daily newspaper, SMS, or through our Website and or by using any other suitable means provided that you shall be deemed to have been notified of any such variations regardless that the same may not have actually come to your attention. Any variation in fees shall become effective after 7 days of such publication or notice.
- By partaking in any activity organized by Vodafone X, you agree that we reserve the right to use your image, video footage and any other information captured at the said activity for our publications in print, online, TV, etc.
